Violet Flame Reiki is a beautiful form of Reiki brought to us by Ivy Moore in 2002 whom she dedicated to Quan Yin, from whom she received the 40 symbols to develop better healing skills.

It is advised that this attunement can be given to any student of Usui Reiki Level II or above (or equivalent in other Reiki forms), primarily because of the large number of symbols.
Quan Yin is the compassionate one. Her colour is lavender, a soft shade of St. Germaine’s Violet Flame. It is a golden violet – the colour of healing and protection. This gives this form of Reiki a warm compassionate touch and offers a great healing to both spirit and body when used. It is also good to use over long distances.

The original manual by Ivy Moore is over 20 years old and contains all the information you need to know to be fully initiated into the Violet Flame work and its energies. Due to its age, some of the links and web addresses no longer exist.
Violet Flame Reiki is made up of 4 levels with 10 symbols each. Each level is sent as a separate Chi Ball and you have the choice of receiving each one at the best time for you. Experienced Reiki Masters may take all 4 attunements together if they choose.
