General Information

1. In these Terms and Conditions, you will find some helpful information about making a booking for a treatment or course, how to contact me, payments, cancellation policy and information when making Product purchases.
2. If you would like to discuss a possible treatment before making a booking then please Contact Me and I will happily discuss your reason for attending and the treatments that may be suitable and what they entail.  You will also find information on my therapies detailed in this website.

TREATMENTS

Insurance and Qualifications

1. I am fully qualified and insured for all the treatments and therapies that I practice and teach.
2. Please let me know if you wish to see proof of any qualifications or insurance.

​Cancellation Policy

1. If you need to cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice for appointments and 48 hours for Courses. You can cancel via Contact Form, telephone, text, WhatsApp or email, so that the time can be made available for  someone else. No explanation is required.
2. To rebook your appointment, please let me know which date and time you would like or use the Bookings page to confirm your chosen date and time.
3. Charges for a late cancellation of less than 24 hours for appointments, 48 hours for Courses or no shows may be made. Where there are multiple late cancellations you will be asked to pay the full cost of your appointments on booking.
4. Any purchases made in the Products section are not refundable.
5. Where a late cancellation charge is due for; 
   • Treatment Plan - a treatment will be signed off as used. 
   • If the appointment/ full course payment has not been paid, then the balance cost of the appointment/course may be requested and a note placed on your file until paid.

1. I understand that there are times when late cancellations are necessary and this will be taken into account with regards to charging and refunding.

Booking and appointments  

1. All appointments and courses are subject to availability.
2. All appointments times quoted include treatment, preparation and consultation.
3. Bookings may be made through the Bookings or Contact Me directly via the Contact Form, telephone, email, text, WhatsApp.
4. Bookings made online are confirmed by email.
5. Bookings made directly through Dawn are confirmed by email, text, or WhatsApp whichever is provided.
6. Until confirmed, appointments and courses are booked on a first come first      served basis.
7. Regrettably, late arrival for your appointment or course will result in a reduced treatment or course time. 
8. Where you have supplied your email, an appointment reminder will be sent to you      24 hours before your confirmed appointment or course time.
9. Children 16 years and under - must be accompanied by an appropriate adult for the whole of the treatment.
10. Vulnerable clients - requiring 1-1 or more care must be accompanied by an appropriate adult(s) for the whole of the treatment.
11. Men - Copthorne Therapies only treats ladies. If a man books an appointment or course for himself at Copthorne Therapies then the appointment or course will be deemed cancelled.
12. Acceptable behaviour

• If a client is under or appears to be under the influence of drink or recreational drugs the treatment will be cancelled forthwith. Full payment will be due.
• Any behaviour by the client either physical or spoken which is not deemed acceptable by Dawn at Copthorne Therapies will deem the appointment or course cancelled forthwith. Full payment will be due.
• If Dawn at Copthorne Therapies decides that a treatment/course cannot be provided to a client, as she is not comfortable in the client’s company or does not trust the client, for any reason, she will deem the appointment or course cancelled forthwith. Full payment maybe due. 

1.   Courses;

• If  you need to change your Course date(s), 48 hours is needed for cancellation. 
• Full payment of the course is payable at the start of the first day of the course.
• If your course is over 2 days and you do not attend the 2nd day, you will not receive your certificate.

1. A course may be cancelled at any time by Copthorne Therapies, if any of these Terms and Conditions are not met.

Payment methods

1. Bookings are payable at your appointment by cash, most debit and credit cards, most smart payments and contactless payments.
2. PayPal and Square is available if you purchase any items from the Products section. ​​

Refunds

1. Refunds of payments made online where the appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours before the appointment time or, appointments cancelled by Copthorne Therapies as detailed above, will be transacted subject to items below.
2. Gift cards are not refundable.
3. Refunds for Treatment Plan may be made if less than 50% of the pre-paid treatments have been fulfilled. All treatments fulfilled will be charged at full price for working out refund cost, and at the stated cost on the website at the time of the refund. The difference between fulfilled treatments cost and the price paid for the Treatment Plan will be refunded. 
4. Treatment Plan – If Copthorne Therapies is no longer able to fulfil your remaining appointments, you will receive a refund of the pro rata amount for the number of appointments not fulfilled, based on the amount you paid for the Treatment Plan.
5. Refunds will not be made for appointments/courses cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment/course time. 
6. Where a refund is valid subject to the items in this Terms and Conditions "Refunds" section; refunds will only be made where the client requests a refund by email or through the website Contact Form no more than 30 days after the cancelled appointment/course date or 3 months after the purchase date of a Treatment Plan.
7. Where you have cancelled or violated these Terms and Conditions;
   1. your payment made online will be refunded via PayPal or Square, whichever you used, as soon as practically possible and will be reduced by any transaction fees incurred from PayPal or Square for both purchase and refund transactions. Refund via BACS may be made.
   2. your payment made by card in person at Copthorne Therapies will be made via PayPal as soon as practically possible and will be reduced by any transaction fees incurred from PayPal for both purchase and refund transactions. Refund via BACS may be made.
   3. payments made in person in cash will be made in person in cash at Copthorne Therapies or by BACS as soon as practically possible.
8. Refunds for payments made, where Copthorne Therapies has cancelled the appointment/course, will be made in full for the amount paid, for the cancelled appointment/course by PayPal/Square/BACS, as appropriate, as soon as practically possible.

​Gift Cards

1. Can be used as a whole or part payment for any purchase at Copthorne Therapies. 
2. Gift Cards confirm the price paid: not a specific length of treatment. The price on the website at the time of booking a therapy, service or course will be the price due.
3. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. 
4. Gift Cards, if not redeemed online, must be presented at the start of the appointment to ensure it is valid, and the Client understands if there is any additional payment to be made.
5. Confirmation of receipt of the payment of the Gift Card will be requested if there is any doubt as to whether the Gift Card has genuinely being purchased. Until this time an additional form of payment for the full cost of the treatment must be made.
6. Gift Cards are offered on the Copthorne Therapies website and through Square. On selection of a gift card purchase you will be taken to the Square app to complete your purchase.
7. Copthorne Therapies do not hold any card data. This is all processed securely through Square.
8. Gift Cards do not have an expiry date.
9. Any Gift Vouchers purchased before 1st January 2018 will be valid until 31st December 2018.
10. No priority is given for appointments - please see Terms under "Booking and Appointments".
11. Unused amounts of the Gift Card can be used against another purchase on the Copthorne Therapies website or in person. 
12. If for any reason Dawn Copthorne Therapies is unable to offer products or services and a Gift Card is still valid then contact will be made through the contact details originally given, for the Gift Card to be redeemed or refunded. 
13. Any changes to the Gift Cards will be made in these Terms and Conditions.

​​Treatment Plan

1. ​​Treatment Plans are a discounted pre-payment of a specified number of treatments of a specific length appointment time at Copthorne Therapies. 
2. Treatment Plan discounts are as specified on the Copthorne Therapies website at the time of purchase.
3. No priority is given for appointments - please see Terms under "Booking and Appointments".
4. Treatment Plans cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Treatment Plans do not have an expiry date.
6. Treatment Plans are only valid for therapy appointments at Copthorne Therapies.
7. Treatment Plans must be presented at each appointment or else an alternative form of payment is required.
8. Treatment Plan cannot be used in conjunction with any other form of discounted treatment.
9. Treatment Plans may be stopped at any time without notice.
10. If for any reason Dawn ceases working and a Treatment Plan has unused appointments then contact will be made with the person who initially paid (through the contact details originally given) for the Treatment Plan to arrange for the remaining appointments to be redeemed or refunded.
11. Any changes to the Treatment Plans will be made in these Terms and Conditions.

Loyalty Cards

1. These are given as a thank you to Clients who have had more than 10 appointments within a 12 month period.
2. The 10 appointments must be paid for at full price at the time of booking to count towards the loyalty card.
3. The 11th appointment will be free then the next appointment will be a new 1 of 10.
4. The length of the free appointment will be determined by the length of the 10 loyalty appointments. So if the majority are 1 hour then the free appointment will also be 1 hour.
5. These Loyalty Cards are at the total discretion of Dawn.
6. These Loyalty Cards may not be used with any other discounted offer.
7. Dawn will keep account of the appointments attended on the Clients file, but a physical loyalty card may also be given if requested.
8. The Loyalty cards have no cash value.

Payments

1. PayPal and Square provide safe and secure payment processing when purchasing Products and distance services.
2. Copthorne Therapies does not hold any card information, this is all processed through PayPal and Square.

Medical information, precautions & contraindications

1. Any therapies, courses, attunements – online, distance or in-clinic - given by Dawn at Copthorne Therapies do not replace any medicine or medical treatment prescribed or medical advice offered by your medical practitioner.
2. You should consult with your medical practitioner beforehand if you have any health conditions.
3. All information on this website is given in good faith and is for information only.
4. Information provided about therapies, courses, attunements and distance therapies on the Copthorne Therapies website is for basic guidance only.
5.  If you have a health condition or are not sure if a specific therapy, course, attunement, distance therapy is suitable for you, please contact Dawn before booking.If you attend an appointment, Dawn will take your medical history to ensure she knows which therapies she can safely offer you. If she is not sure, she will use a different therapy, offer a therapy in a different manner which is suitable or ask you to see your GP before she will offer anything.
6. Some therapies have contraindications – some conditions are not suitable for all therapies - these may worsen your condition or make you feel unwell if you receive a therapy without Dawns prior knowledge.
7. Copthorne Therapies will not accept any liability for the use or misuse of any information, therapy, course, attunement, distance therapy on the Copthorne Therapies website or any adverse reaction caused from them.
